I have made a conscious decision to not focus so much on “artistic” photos and lean towards scenes that make me think.  Often that can include how people live and interact with others in this strange world we live in. I also want to delve into black and white photography a little more to see how it feels.

 

With that said I was out running an errand this morning and saw the following scene outside of a restaurant.  It is Easter Sunday and I saw this lady waiting all by herself.  At first, I just saw her looking around expectantly.  Then she started texting.  That’s when I took the pic.  I truly hope she was not stood up on Easter.  That would be crushing.  I had to move on so I could not wait around to see if she ever met up with anyone.  I will never know the truth, but I sincerely hope all works out for her.

 

I also hope everyone has a wonderful Easter.

 I was bored the other day so I grabbed my camera and headed out the front door to see if I could find something to shoot.  I made it about 30 feet.  It all happened so quick that I didn't really have time to even check my camera settings.  Luckily, everything seemed to work out just right.

I am really beginning to enjoy night photography but I also want to explore more street photography in general.
